Mid century sideboard made in 1961 by Morris of Glasgow, who also designed and built several furniture pieces for the British royal family. This buffet / dry bar features interesting wood grain, sculpted wood pulls, tapered legs and a stretcher base. On one half are double cabinet doors opening to a full length, interior shelf. On the other half is a long, felt lined shallow drawer with removeable dividers above a drop down door opening up to a drinks cabinet with another interior shelf. Both shelves are removeable and not full depth so the cabinets have space for taller items as well. Sticker on the back has a manufacture date of 1961, makers signature inside of cupboard door. Very good vintage with the exception of uneven fading on the front and some light scratches on the top that can only be seen from certain angles. The top and sides have pretty grain patterns and are darker than the front.
66" wide, 18" deep not counting the pulls, 28.75" high.
