Pair of Norman Perry Inc. vintage studio ceramic pottery lamps with fine rope shades. They feature glazed olive green bodies with incised figural grape leaves and grapes on one side. The glaze finishes near but not at the base of the pottery so you can see and feel some of the unglazed pottery. They sit on six-sided wood bases which have an Asian feel. The bodies are similar to ginger jars, with what seems to be wood at the top, hidden by the shades. The lampshades are very nice, finished with finely woven rope cord. Each lamp has two sockets, and each has a pull chain to switch on and off. Very good vintage condition with only minor imperfections.
Lamps are 10" in diameter at the widest points, bases are 7.25" wide, 7.25" deep, lamp is 30.25" high to the top of the finial. Shades are 8.25" in diameter at the top, 18" in diameter at the bottom, 13.25" high.
