Vintage 'Minerva' daybed sofa designed in the 1960's by Peter Hvidt & Orla Mølgaard-Nielsen for France & Son and made in Denmark. This sleek Danish modern piece features teak base with tapered legs, teak back with chrome supports and original cushions upholstered in a beautiful blue fabric. Both the seat cushion and the back cushion have inner springs, and the back cushion is wedge-shaped for comfort and to keep it in place. The frame has been refinished and is in excellent vintage condition with very light wear. The fabric is in very good condition with the exception of fading that is most noticeable on the back, and less noticeable along the top of the back cushion. The rubber loop coil support is complete and in good condition, and the France & Son logo is intact.
