From either the Ifugao or Bontoc people of the Luzon Mountains in the Philippines, this finely woven basket is noted for its exceptional beauty and craftsmanship. This handcrafted, dark lidded basket features an intriguing form with a square base that morphs into a rounded, lidded top. The lid is carved solid wood with an amazing, partially clothed and man with feathers on his head as a handle. The base is wood, there are four woven looped handles on the body of the basket.

17" wide, 17" deep, 24" high including feathers.
