Small Japanese drum (Shime-daiko) on stand with pair of sticks. Circa Meiji period (1868-1912). Good vintage condition, the animal skin top and bottom are connected by thick iron bolts. The round wood body has some Japanese characters stamped on it. It is mounted on a wooden stand that is also very sturdy. It comes with wood Japanese drum sticks called bachi. Looks fantastic, sounds great too. Some wear and tear but it's definitely built to last.

Overall dimensions are 16.75" wide, 15.75" deep, 10.5" high. Drum dimensions are 15.25" diameter, 8" high.
