SOLD – Stanley Mid-Century Dining Set, Table & 6 Chairs

Classic mid-century modern walnut dining set consisting of dining table with three 12" leaves and six matching dining chairs, made in 1960 by Stanley Furniture. The table is a very attractive shape, not quite rectangular as it flares out slightly along the sides and is narrower at the ends. At each end is a beautiful 2" trim piece of Brazilian rosewood. The table is sturdy, with thin tapered legs, and it has a built-in butterfly leaf. It also comes with two more 12" leaves that store separately, which are darker than the rest of the top as they have been used sparingly. There are five side chairs and one armchair, all of which have curved wooden backs and black covers over nicely padded seats. They are very sturdy and quite comfortable. Both table and chairs are in good vintage condition with some expected wear from age and use.

The table starts at 50.75" long and expands to lengths of 62.75", 74.75" and 86.75". It is 40" deep at the center and 38" deep at the ends, and 29.25" high. The side chairs are 21.75" wide at the backs and 20.25" wide at the seats, 18.5" deep, the armchair is 24" wide and 19.5" deep, all chairs are 32.5" high, 19.75" seat height that depresses when sat upon.
