This elegant, large-scale porcelain vase brings timeless presence to any interior. Its classic form, with a broad flared mouth, rounded shoulders, and narrow base, is finished in a softly translucent bluish-white glaze that falls within the broader celadon tradition. The surface features subtle speckling and tonal variation, a natural result of traditional kiln-fired glazing techniques that add depth and character. Two intricate openwork handles at the neck nod to Qing dynasty motifs, adding visual interest and a sense of refinement. The underside features an apocryphal Qianlong seal mark in red, commonly used in homage to the 18th-century Qing emperor, though the vase likely dates from the early to mid-20th century, possibly during the Republic period. It makes a striking sculptural statement whether styled alone or as part of a larger vignette. Small hairline crack near the rim and a stabilized crack across the base, with visible adhesive residue.
8.5" in diameter and 16.75" high.
