Vintage Art Deco burl petite cocktail cabinet featuring an ingenious design that lifts the top up and back automatically when the top door is opened downward. When opened, it reveals a decorative mirrored interior on the back and glass over the striped black and gold bottom of the space. Inside are six original cocktail picks in holders attached to the top, as well as a couple of other drink tools of the trade. Below are two cabinet doors that open to storage space for bottles etc. with a fixed height shelf, and the cabinet sits on a short plinth base. Each door has a floral, round metal handle which adds to the look. The doors all work well, and the piece is in very good vintage condition with some wear for age and use. There is a light inside that would need to be rewired, and there are some small flaws that don't really detract from the charm of the piece. On the back is the remnants of a sticker that reads George Serlin, Sureline Furniture, London.
22.5" wide, 14.75" deep, the three pulls add another .75" to the depth, and it's 44.75" high when closed, and 53.5" high with the top up.
