Vintage Japanese Studio Pottery Centerpiece Bowl. This sculptural ceramic bowl features a softly rounded square form with an understated asymmetrical profile and beautifully textured speckled glaze in earthy gray and light blue tones. The organic surface treatment gives the piece a stone-like appearance that works especially well in Japandi, wabi-sabi, organic modern, and mid-century interiors. A hand-incised linear motif accent on both sides adds quiet visual rhythm without overpowering the minimalist form. The bowl retains both its original Sensu Trading “Made in Japan” label and interior Japanese paper label. Estimated age is 1970s. Lovely as a centerpiece bowl, fruit bowl, ikebana vessel, entry catchall, or simply displayed as a sculptural object on open shelving or another surface. Excellent vintage condition.
