Mid century tall sideboard designed by Peter Hayward for Vanson and made in the 1960s in the UK. This sideboard features long legs that put it a few inches higher than most. It has a bank of three dovetailed drawers in the center, the first of which is felt lined with dividers and includes an additional, removable felt lined flatware tray. On each side are cabinet doors that open to storage spaces, one with a full size shelf and the other with a narrow shelf around three sides, ideal for glasses while leaving space in the center for bottles or vases. It is accented with brass handles that have just been polished. Good condition for age and use, drawers and doors work smoothly. It shows some wear to the finish and some areas of discoloration.
63.5" long, 20.25" deep at the center, 19" deep at the ends, 33.25" high.
