Vintage mid-century teak sideboard made in the U.K. by Portwood Furniture circa 1970's. It's a beautiful piece that features clean Danish modern styling, sculpted pulls, rounded edges and rounded legs with stretcher. The main surfaces are teak veneer, while the pulls, legs and borders are afromosia (African teak) that provides a nice contrast. On the left is a pair of doors that open to storage space with a long, fixed-height shelf. Next to that is a bank of four drawers, the top of which has removable dividers for flatware, and on the right is a single drop-down door opening to storage space with a fixed height shelf. The piece has been refinished, and it is in excellent vintage condition with minor wear from age and use.
75" long, 18" deep, 29.25" high.
