Vintage mid-century teak secretary desk made in the U.K. circa 1960's. This piece features clean styling, simple metal door and drawer pulls, and tapered legs that add an airy feel and leave space underneath one's feet while sitting. A slanted drop-down door becomes the writing or laptop surface, and when open reveals cubbies on the back wall. Below the door is a single drawer, and below that are sliding cabinet doors that open to storage space with a single fixed-height shelf. It's seen plenty of use over the years and has some noticeable cosmetic wear, but it's sturdy and the doors and drawer function well.
31.75" wide, 15.75" deep, tapering to 7.75" deep at the top, 42.5" high, writing surface is 29.25" high.
