Tall vintage studio pottery lidded vessel with a striking, layered glaze in deep indigo, oxblood, rust, and cream. Bands of cream crackle glaze wrap around the body, creating a strong contrast against the darker tones. The cylindrical form is accented by subtle raised rings near the base, adding texture and emphasizing its hand-thrown construction. The lid features a sculptural, hand-formed finial that gives the piece a unique, slightly whimsical character. The interior is fully glazed in a rich oxblood tone, with visible throwing rings. Signed on the underside, though the artist is not clearly legible. Circa 1970s American studio pottery, with a Pacific Northwest or West Coast feel. Condition is very good vintage. No cracks observed. Minor wear along the rim and light marks to the interior base, consistent with age and use.

5” diameter, 12.75" high to the top of the jar, and 16" high including the lid.
